Join us on a seven-day adventure in the breathtaking Sinai Desert with “Her Tribe.” This unique women’s journey offers the chance to experience living as a tribe, traveling, and sleeping under the open sky, guided by an authentic Bedouin tribe.
For six days, you will live in the rhythm of the desert.
Simplicity and space are what this journey abundantly offers. The seventh day will be at the beach.
While we travel and eat together, there is always the opportunity to create your own space, read, walk, or simply be alone. Although there are simple facilities in some places, there is always enough water and space for privacy. During this journey, we encounter few or no other people.
During this journey, we have a few check-in moments.
At the beginning of the journey, we check in with the simple question of what your need is on this trip. For some, it might be silence, while others may have different needs. In the middle of the journey, there is a reflection moment, and we close the final circle on the beach on the last evening.
You will quickly feel comfortable and at ease, facilitated by the way we travel together, the vast pure desert, the Bedouins and their animals, the communal campfires, and the clear nights full of stars and dreams.
What to expect:
You trek through the impressive desert by camel and on foot for six days, covering between 10 and 15 kilometers every day. You travel under the guidance of experienced Bedouins and two experienced Dutch-speaking guides; Maxine Voght and Debra Hempel.
Maxine Vogt creates personal symbols in her work that represent their inner SUN and guides people to live their highest potential. The symbols she makes will also support this journey to make it a magical journey.

Our team knows the desert like no other and offers expert guidance and support according to needs.
You will trek for six days by camel and on foot through the impressive desert, covering 10 to 15 kilometers daily. You will travel under the guidance of experienced Bedouins and two seasoned Dutch & English speaking guides, Maxine Voght and Debra Hempel.

After breakfast on the sixth day, we depart by jeep back to the coast of Nuweiba, where the journey ends at the beautiful Live The Bedouin Life Camp on the Gulf of Aqaba. Here you can relax and enjoy the stunning sea views.

WEATHER
The climate in March is pleasantly warm, with maximum temperatures around 30 degrees Celsius. At night, it can cool down to temperatures between 15 and 20 degrees Celsius. With approximately 10 hours of sunshine per day and a very small chance of precipitation, the weather forecast for March is perfect for a desert trip with the Bedouins and their camels.
VACCINATIONS Egypt and Sinai do not require any vaccinations.
TIME DIFFERENCE
The time difference with Egypt and Sinai is 1 hour ahead (during winter time there is no time difference).
